Hello my name is Brian Aston, I am 27, I have been suffering from LHON for a little over 7 years now. For the first 5 years I was not able to find any real information about Leber’s so I more or less just gave up. That was a bad idea, lol, for the last 2 years there has been a huge amount of people researching this disease and there is a LOT more known now that was just not known when I went blind. So in the beginning of February 2011 I was playing a video game on my 117” projector TV and I kept loosing and I was getting fed up with being blind like usual and just jumped on the computer and started searching for things LHON and to my surprise there was now so much information about this on the internet that I spent a few hours every day for weeks learning about LHON. I organized all of this research in what I call the LHON Knowledge Library. To my knowledge it is the single largest source of information about Leber’s in one place. So please go thru all of the material on this site and learn for your self what this is and what you can do to try to beat LHON!!
